Recently, a customer in Meizhou, Guangdong, completed on-site commissioning and acceptance services for a 405kVA/108kV variable-frequency series resonance test device. This service, provided by a professional power equipment supplier, ensures the test device operates properly and meets the customer’s testing requirements.

The 405kVA/108kV variable-frequency series resonance test device is a high-performance power test device suitable for acceptance and preventive testing of large-capacity, high-voltage capacitive test products. The device primarily consists of a variable-frequency power supply, an excitation transformer, a reactor, a capacitive voltage divider, a compensation capacitor, and test accessories. It generates stable high voltage and high current, meeting the withstand voltage testing requirements of various power equipment.

 

The 405kVA/108kV variable frequency series resonance test device is designed and manufactured primarily for AC withstand voltage testing of 10kV and 35kV cables, 35kV main transformers, and 35kV switchgear. It meets the following requirements: AC withstand voltage testing of 35kV/300mm² cables up to 3km, AC withstand voltage testing of 10kV/300mm² cables up to 8km, AC withstand voltage testing of 35kV/50,000kVA main transformers, AC withstand voltage testing of 10kV/20,000kVA main transformers, and AC withstand voltage testing of systems such as 35kV switches and circuit breakers. Upon arriving on-site, the commissioning team first conducted thorough communication with the customer to understand the equipment’s installation environment, usage requirements, and intended goals. Subsequently, the team conducted a comprehensive inspection of the equipment to ensure that all components were intact and met installation requirements. After confirming the equipment was functioning correctly, the commissioning team assembled and wired the equipment according to the established installation and commissioning plan. They carefully checked the equipment’s wiring for correctness and security, and then activated each functional module one by one for preliminary testing.

After a lengthy period of withstand voltage testing, the commissioning team successfully completed the commissioning and acceptance of the 405kVA/270kV variable-frequency series resonance test device.
